Before You Google / Baidu!

You have chosen your topic, and your paper is due soon. What now? Before you Google, there are some questions you can ask yourself to make your research go more quickly and end up with resources that result in a better grade!

1. What kind of information would help me the most? Will you be looking for opinions? Newspaper articles? Biographies? Articles?

2. Where would be a good place to look?  For example, if your topic is the Harlem Renaissance, newspaper articles from the time period would be a great place to start.  We have databases full of historical newspapers.

3. What if I can't find what I need? That is what Ms. Biancolo is here for. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
